I was very fortunate to be a first reader winner and I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Victoria Logue was able to give this well told story a refreshing twist. I loved the characters in this story and the book was hard to put down. It was well written with a great plot line. I highly recommend it for anybody who loves a good vampire story. However don't expect any wild and crazy sex scenes, but rather a romantic love story, hopefully with a happy ending. ;-)
This book combines a fascinating look at the life of the legendary and ultimately evil Dracula. Without forgiving his cruelty, Victoria Logue has provided through careful research the events that led to his decisions. Running side-by-side with his story is that of three people in today's world a young newspaper writer, her would-be-suitor and a man trapped in the life of a vampire. I am not really a fan of the current vampire books, movies and televison series, but this book carried me along for a ride that was both terrifying and exhilarating.
